Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes: your link is stored inside the code itself, so they never expire and keep working even if this website is gone.
Will my QR code scan?
Keep strong contrast, with a dark code on a light background, and leave the blank border around it. Always test it with a phone before you print.
What does error correction do?
It adds backup data so the code still scans if it is dirty or partly covered. Higher levels make a denser code, so Medium is a good default.
PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites and social posts. Use SVG for print, because it stays sharp at any size.
Is my link sent anywhere?
No. The code is made in your browser, and nothing you type is uploaded.
